Keeping Going

I believe that we are here together to learn from one another.  If we were ment to go through life alone I think we would all have been placed on seperate worlds not knowing of one another.  Learning from others can save a lot of time, money, and headache.  I enjoy learning things from others that help me in my life so today I want to ask you:

What do you do that helps you keep going when you feel like turning back but know you should keep going?  What do you do that helps you keep going when it is easier not to keep going?  As we are in this together let's learn from one another.  You can send your answers to us in an email.

Self-Control or Self-Mastery

We expect that when we turn the key in our car that it turn on; we expect to flip the light switch in a room and the bulb to light up.  We expect things to work their best.  Anything of power if it is not controllable is often useless and dangerous.  Electricity, speed, movement, temperature, and yes even you are more effective and safe when in control.  It seems that often times we expect everything else and everybody else to be governed and in control but when we choose not to do what we know to be right we figure it is our freedom our right to do so.  Self-control and self-mastery bring power, true joy, and many other rewards.  Doing what you know to be right no matter the situation or the consequence is being in control.  Choosing the easy path or the path of least resistance brings doubt, discouragement and failure.  Choose to be in control and live your life and do not seek the easy path and just simply abide your life.
